| I am an artist, therefore I love pretty much all types and forms of art, but the art I love the most is meaningful art. When a piece of art is created for someone, when it means something to them, when it helps them on some level, when it expresses my own emotions and life story is when I consider it my best work. They wouldn't consider themselves artists, but two of my Grandmothers were Artists. I believe I got the creative gene from them. I can remember as a child, I even colored in coloring books differently than my friends did. Just the boring black outlines were never enough for me, I always had to add something more to it. A pattern, a purple cat, pinky purply orangy skies. I'm in my true element behind a camera lens and anywhere in nature. I've always felt like I see things more vividly than others. I recognize things in nature that most people just would never notice. A common weed that produces a beautiful tiny flower, a golden leaf floating down a stream, a ladybug on a dew speckled blade of grass. I dabble in many other forms of art as well, painting, sculpture, crafty stuff, and have almost become a pro at web design using Joomla. BUT there is ALWAYS more to learn! :0) |
